Steintec Tuffjoint Utility is a cement-based, dry-application brush-in grout for porcelain, sandstone, limestone, granite and concrete paving. Simply sweep it into dry joints, remove the excess and activate it with a fine mist of water.
Each 12.5kg tub provides coverage of up to 31m², depending on the dimensions of the paving and joints. Available in Flint, Anthracite, Hessian and Cream.

Description
Steintec Tuffjoint Utility is an easy-to-apply, cement-based brush-in grout designed for completing outdoor paving installations.
Supplied as a ready-to-use dry powder, it requires no mixing. Simply sweep the material into the paving joints, remove the excess and activate it using a fine mist of water.
Tuffjoint can be used with porcelain paving, sandstone, granite and concrete paving. It is suitable for domestic patios, paths and driveways when installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidance.

Choose from four colours:
- Flint – a versatile mid-grey shade

It can fill straight or irregular paving joints, making it suitable for both uniform porcelain slabs and more varied natural-stone installations.
How to apply Tuffjoint Utility
1. Prepare the paving
Ensure the paving and joints are properly prepared and suitable for the product. Remove dirt, loose material and standing water before beginning.
2. Sweep the grout into the joints
Pour the dry Tuffjoint onto the paving and use a clean broom, brush or suitable squeegee to work it thoroughly into the joints.
Make sure every joint is completely filled.
3. Remove the excess
Sweep all remaining dry material away from the surface of the paving. Any clean, unused dry material can be returned to the tub for later use.
4. Activate with water
Apply water evenly using a hose set to a fine mist. Avoid using a forceful jet that could remove material from the joints.
5. Clean the paving
Clean the paving thoroughly in accordance with Steintec’s application instructions, ensuring no loose material remains on the surface.
Once water has been applied, the product has a working time of approximately 30 minutes at 20°C.
